I stopped and thought about this idea and for me there was a sadness. The two greatest pursuits of human kind are religion and science. Both have such high ideals and yet it feels like both have betrayed our highest potential. Religion professes to know the way to god and yet has been responsible for more death and destruction than any other human activity.
